THB SHETLANDS

..and let's hope it's okay for all others that might like to follow the news page aswell.. As I got some foreighn friends, I've been kindly asked to make my news page in english. And I know by my own experience how confusing it is to "read" homepages in languages I can not understand - so here it comes, not impeccable - but in (my own) english way!

Lot's of (fun) stuff is happening at the moment. Even though it's a depressing time of year when it's way to little snow (for sledding) and dark almost whole day outside. This is the first winter living in my new house. With my 5 dogs and 13 ponies I'm (luckily) not lonely (yet)! If I was appearing like Pippi Langstrømpe before, old friends should come and visit me in Villa Villakula now!

My foals from this year are all sold, and at this moment only Mary is still left here, she will travel to West of Norway on Tuesday. I'm sooo satisfied with all the new homes. It's not sad at all to send my babies away when I know they will be in such good hands! It's like their mothers know too, because even though the foals was not weaned off by the time of delivering - their mothers haven't looked for them once since they left home..

Best news since last time is that Simona is back home again! With her she got the cutest little man, Ix, born the 20th August - so he is still very baby! He is a buckskin from Flynn. It's strange, but it feels very right to have my little  "Princess" back home again - she is a very special lady.

My "friesesian" girl is also growing "in" and is making impressive progression in how to behave like the beautifull friesian Lady that she is. Makes me wonder why I didn't buy such a horse much earlier -  Love her! She follows me wherever I go, and she is sooo intelligent - learns quicklyer than an Border collie, I actually think I can teach her to speak norwegian verry soon. My little parrot
